PM arrives at Khajuraho airport, leaves for UP in chopper

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Khajuraho airport in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh this morning for a short period while en route to neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, where he was scheduled to address an election rally.
The plane carrying the PM arrived at Khajuraho airport, located about 360 kms from the state capital, at 11 am. Modi, who was welcomed by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, spent only a few minutes at the airport before being flown to Orai in UP in a chopper.
Some other leaders, including the Minister of State (independent charge) for Backward Class and Minority Welfare Lalita Yadav and local MP Virendra Khatik were also present on the occasion.
