He also took stock of the progress of Aadhaar card enrolment and asked all chief secretaries to work towards providing benefits through the mechanisms of Jan Dhan accounts and Aadhaar cards, to the extent possible, so that leakages are reduced, and people are benefited.
The prime minister took the decisions while chairing his seventh interaction through PRAGATI - the ICT-based, multi- modal platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation here.
He also reviewed grievances relating to railways, especially sanitation-related issues, and was briefed on steps being taken to ensure cleanliness, both in stations, and on trains.
During the meeting, held once a month, Modi also reviewed the progress of fencing on the India-Bangladesh border.

"Asserting that there can be no compromise on an issue of national security, he asked the chief secretaries of all five states who share borders with Bangladesh, to work towards early completion of this project," the statement said.
