leader L K Advani and a host of other leaders from across the political spectrum mingled with each other this evening at an Iftar hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here.
Singh graciously received all the guests, who included a number of maulvis, community representatives and diplomats from Islamic countries.
Gandhi also mingled with the representatives of the Muslim community a few of whom were seen discussing something with her.
The Prime Minister spent some time chatting with Advani as he attended to the guests.
Prominent personalities present at the occasion included Union Ministers A K Antony, P Chidambaram, Sushilkumar Shinde, Salman Khurshid, Sriprakash Jaiswal, Ajit Singh, Mukul Roy and V Narayanasami.
Shinde was seen discussing something with the Prime Minister separately, apparently the situation arising out of violence in Assam and some other parts of the country.
