After meeting the Prime Minister here, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Modi will grace the closing ceremony of Simhastha on May 14, 2016, a press release issued by the state government said.
He said that 2016 Simhastha Mahakumbh will be a confluence of thoughts and ideologies, which will mainly be focused on 'Adhyatma and Dharma'.
"Seminar will be held in which views on different aspects of life will be exchanged and discussed," the release said.
Simhastha, a bathing festival celebrated once in twelve years, will be held in Ujjain from April 22, 2016 to May 21, 2016. Lakhs of people are expected to take bath in Kshipra river in Ujjain during this religious event.

Chouhan also invited the Prime Minister to inaugurate the 'Vishwa Hindi Sammelan' (World Hindi Conference) to be held in September this year in Bhopal.
Chouhan informed the Prime Minister that this year the Madhya Pradesh government will celebrate Raksha Bandhan in different way to make women more secure and self reliant.
"This will make their future more secure," Chouhan said.
