Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat on July 20 to take part in various programmes in the state, officials said today.
As per the tentative schedule shared by authorities, Modi would first dedicate two lakh houses built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at a function to be held in Valsad town of south Gujarat on July 20 morning.
He would also take part in groundbreaking ceremony for a water supply project from the same venue, an official said, adding that he would also address the people there.
After Valsad, the PM would visit Junagadh town in Saurashtra region to inaugurate some projects. He will also perform ground-breaking ceremony of several works, including a college. The PM would also address people at the function, the official said.
In the evening, Modi is scheduled to be in Gandhinagar to attend the convocation ceremony of Gujarat Forensic Science University.
He is expected to leave for Delhi after the ceremony late evening, the official said.
