Ahead of his meeting with Indian envoys, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today invited suggestions from the country's diaspora about services rendered by the missions abroad as well as their ideas to mark the first International Day of Yoga on June 21.
"Friends from the diaspora, share your inputs on certain aspects pertaining to our Embassies abroad," Modi tweeted.
He invited the suggestions on MyGov website.
"The inputs on the Embassies received through MyGov would be very valuable for the Conference of Heads of Mission, being held in February," the Prime Minister said.
At the conference, his first interaction with all Indian envoys collectively, Modi is expected to give the direction to them with emphasis on pro-active approach towards addressing issues relating to the Indian diaspora.
Modi also sought their "ideas & inputs on marking the first ever 'International Day of Yoga', on this MyGov Open Forum."
The UN recently declared June 21 as International Day of Yoga to be celebrated every year.
