PM will attend International Yoga Day programme on June 21:Vij

Haryana Minister Anil Vij today said the Governments of Haryana and Punjab as well as Chandigarh Administration would jointly organise 'International Yoga Day' here on June 21 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the occasion.
The Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, who was presiding over a high-level meeting to review arrangements being made for the success of 'International Yoga Day' programmes here, said that the Centre had decided to organise the event here this time.
He said that more than 10,000 people from Haryana would participate in this event.
The participants would include school and college students and teachers, Home Guards and Police personnel, he said.
Apart from this, yoga programmes would be organised at village, tehsil, sub-division and district levels in Haryana, he said.
He said that the Sports and AYUSH Departments would hold yoga training camps at village, block, sub-division, district and state levels with the assistance of Yog Peeth Haridwar to educate people regarding yoga.
