In his response, Gandhi tweeted "Thank you @narendramodi ji for your kind wishes!"
Modi also greeted Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh on his 68th birthday.
"Greetings to the CM of Manipur, Shri Okram Ibobi Singh on his birthday. I pray for his good health and long life," said the Prime Minister in another tweet.
