Senior leader and former MLA K Arumugam (Chengalpattu) is among the 45 candidates announced in a statement here by the party for assembly segments in various districts, including Chennai, Pudukottai, Vellore, Kancheepuram, Madurai and Tiruchirappalli.
PMK, which is facing the polls on its own from all 234 seats, said the candidates for the rest of the constituencies would be announced in the next few days.
