Amid profit-booking by speculators, mentha oil futures eased by 0.63 per cent to Rs 886.60 per kg in futures trading today.
Besides, adequate stocks position in the physical market on higher supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh, put pressure on mentha oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in November month declined by Rs 5.60, or 0.63 per cent to Rs 886.60 per kg in business turnover of 61 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in December contracts traded lower by Rs 4.50, or 0.50 per cent to Rs 899.90 per kg in 25 lots.
Market analysts attributed fall in mentha oil at futures trade to profit-booking by participants amid muted demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
