"The Polish armed forces will take part in the reform of Ukraine's sub-officers," said General Boguslaw Pacek, head of training at Poland's Defence Ministry.
"The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has asked for training help from NATO countries. Poland's response will be affirmative," he wrote on Twitter.
British Prime Minister David Cameron announced yesterday that his country will send up to 75 soldiers to Ukraine on a "training mission" of about six months.
Cameron said they would not be sent to the conflict zone.
A UN-backed ceasefire showed signs of taking hold in Ukraine today, when for the first time since it came into force February 15, no deaths were reported by either side for the past 24 hours.
