Police have recovered four knives from their possession.
The accused -- identified as Gulfam, Shabu, Azad and Deepak -- would normally commit robbery in different parts of the district at night, a police officer said. Acting on a tip-off, police personnel arrested them from Abhaykhand area when they assembled there yesterday.
"The accused told interrogators that they would rob people by posing as eunuchs in order to escape being suspected. They have confessed to their crime," the officer said, adding that further probes are on to find out the details of their accomplices.
