Police arrest woman for allegedly murdering 4-month-old

The Police have arrested the mother of a four-month-old girl child on charges of murdering the infant by dumping her in a water tank.
"The woman already had a son. Her mental condition was not well, which probably led to the incident," SHO Pratap Nagar Islam Khan told PTI.
Yesterday, police had found the infant dead in a water tank under mysterious conditions.
The father of the girl had lodged a case of murder.
According to police, the infant slept with her parents on Tuesday night.
In the morning, her father Mahendra Singh was unable to find her and asked his wife about their daughter.

His wife suddenly started crying and told him that somebody had snatched away their daughter.
Singh then lodged a case of murder in this connection.
