In the past three days, the accused were apprehended from various places in the city during a special drive,they said.
The police succeeded in apprehending three Nigerians identified as Dennis Azuka Okoye, Ekpelechukwu Johan and Jackson Uzova while they were in possession of heroin without any license.
Last week one local drug peddler Harjit Singh alias Lucky Saini was arrested and 25 gram heroin was recovered from his possession, police said.
"During interrogation, he disclosed some valuable inputs regarding drug suppliers who are regularly supplying the drugs to the local drug peddlers for further selling these to the addicts. On the basis of this inputs the Crime Branch made different teams for surprise checking to apprehend these drug suppliers," police said in a release here.

Subsequently, a case was registered against him under the provision of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) and also under relevant Section of the Foreigners Act after his arrest three days back. He is currently on police remand.
In another case, a team of Crime Branch was on patrolling yesterday, when they recovered 35 grams heroin from Johan(38), at present resident of New Delhi and he was booked under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
Yesterday, Uzova (37) was also apprehended with 35 grams heroin in his possession, who is also living in New Delhi at present. Subsequently, he was booked under relevant provisions of the law.
Police said all the three accused persons belong to Nigeria and had arrived in India sometime back on tourist/business visa and started staying at different places in New Delhi.
"During investigation, they were found involved in smuggling of contraband heroin in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi etc. They are having contacts with local drug peddlers and used to contact to these persons on mobile phones and supply the drugs as per their demand at different places.
The local drug peddlers further supply/sell the same to the addicts in discotheques and nearby area of colleges. They further disclosed that they used to visit Tri-City (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali) to supply on the weekends," police said.
