Police received information about an online casino running in a game parlour in the Lal Quarter Market of Krishna Nagar. A team was constituted and a constable was sent as a decoy customer to check whether it is working.
"At the place, he was asked to pay a minimum amount of Rs 1000 on pretext of earning 36 times of the paid money. The decoy was successful and on his tip, the parlour was raided last evening," said DCP(Shahdara) Nupur Prasad.
"Thirteen types of game were being played. These included fun andar bahar, triple run, one target, bingo, fever joker bonus, golden wheel, giant jack, Keno, seven up and seven down, lucky and line, checkers and no hold," said the officer.
During interrogation, accused Amit Raghubir (23) disclosed that he is the caretaker of the game parlour.
