The woman has been booked under Sections 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions) and 353 (assault to deter public servant from his duty) in a case registered at Tuglaq Road police station.
"But we have not yet been able to determine her identity," said Vijay Singh, DCP New Delhi.
The woman whom police believed to be a foreign diplomat had slapped the security person, a Delhi Police officer, outside the WWF auditorium on Lodhi Road on July 10.
The woman was reportedly late for the event and the security person denied her permission to enter the venue. The woman first argued with the officer and then slapped him.

The whole incident was caught on camera which later went viral on social media.
Police said that efforts were on to find out the nationality of the woman by going through the video of the incident. Focus will be on her accent and language that may disclose her identity.
