Police constable killed in accidental firing

A police constable was accidentally shot dead by a havildar during firing practice at the Sundernagar firing range of the Jharkhand police here today.
The deceased, Sarju Ram, posted in the Sitaramdera police outpost was shot accidentally by the havildar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kanhaiya Upadhyay said.
Sarju, a resident of Vaishali district in Bihar, was declared dead by doctors at the Tata Main Hospital, Upadhyay said, adding that the incident is being investigated.
