"We have arrested four accused in this case. The kidnapped youth has been rescued and is safe with his family now. We detected the case within 72 hours of registration of the offence," said DCP (zone I) Manoj Kumar Sharma.
According to police, Mofijun Rahamatulla Mandal went missing on Friday night from a godown owned by his brother in Mazgaon area.
The kidnappers had sought ransom of Rs 7 lakh for Mandal's release.
On the same day, Mandal's elder brother Sanarul Mandal (32) received a call on his mobile phone seeking Rs 7 lakh in ransom for Mandal's release, following which Sanarul lodged a kidnapping case.

Meanwhile, police traced the mobile phone tower location of the call in Dongari only.
The kidnappers had said they are aware about money kept at Sanarul's home who is into cloths business in partnership with his three brothers.
Police suspected the voice of the caller might be known to Mandal family and enquired with Mandal's friends and acquaintances.
However, Sanarul refused to drop the bag and asked the abductor to release his brother first.
Meanwhile, police zeroed in on a person who was known to Mandal as his voice was similar to the kidnapper's voice.
Police raided JJ Hospital compound last night and arrested one Mohemmend Shamiulla Shaikh (26) on suspicion.
Shaikh spilled the beans on his aides, following which police conducted a raid in Dharavi and arrested Shahenshah Rain (19) and Feroz Rain (19), and rescued Mandal who was bound with rope.
