Police launches manhunt for alleged killers of Thane housewife

The Thane police has launched a manhunt for six people from Kalyan who allegedly murdered a 30-year-old housewife brutally and concealed her body under a bed in her house, the police said today.
Senior police inspector H L Daule of the Kolshewadi police station said that an offence has been registered under Section 302 and Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code against suspected killers who were the neighbours of the victim, based on a complaint by her nephew.
Police said that the victim's 13-year-old nephew Rajesh Pradhan, complained to the police said that his aunt Moushmi Rakesh Das (30) was in her house on September 22 morning, when some unknown people brutally killed her with sharp weapons and dumped her body under the bed.
She was in a pool of blood when he found her and the body was sent for postmortem by the police.
In his complaint, the boy said that he suspected his neighbours identified as Sanjay Singh, Kali, Santo, Tapas Patra, Prasannajit and Amar killed his aunt.
There were blood stains in their rooms and all the six have been absconding after his aunt was killed, his complaint said.
