Police in South Florida say they have a "person of interest" in the theft of a naked Donald Trump statue.
Miami police said on the department's official Twitter account that the statue of the Republican presidential nominee was taken from the Wynwood arts district yesterday.
WSVN-TV reports security guards in Wynwood told police they saw a group of men loading the statue into a pickup truck.
A witness told investigators he took a picture of the truck as it left the neighbourhood. Police ran the license plate and are now looking for the registered owner of the truck as a "person of interest."
A similar statue disappeared this week in New Jersey. And in Las Vegas, a naked Trump statue was knocked down and sprayed with graffiti overnight and removed Friday from a corner in a parking lot near a downtown music festival site.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that all that remained was a pedestal with two pink feet attached.
The statues are produced by Las Vegas artist Joshua Monroe. They first appeared in August in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle.
