Police officer beaten up by locals for adultery

A police officer was beaten up by locals in Jhansi district after he was allegedly found involved in adultery.
The incident took place at Marin Dhamele Chowk locality on March 26 when the officer was caught by locals at the house of a woman, Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) Amrendra Sengar told reporters here today.
Taking note of the incident, an inquiry has been ordered, Sengar added.
