Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vasant Kumar, who was supposed to pay maintenance of the flat (situated in the apartment complex) in which he is staying "barged into the flat of a member of the association" and allegedly threatened him yesterday.
The members of the association lodged a complaint following which a case was registered against the officer under sections 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint), 352 (assault or criminal force otherwise than on grave provocation) and other relevant sections of IPC and he was arrested, said Chikkadpally police station inspector B Sudharshan.
