Police on alert following reports of Maoists' infiltration

Police manning checkposts bordering Kerala and Karnataka were put on high alert following information that four Maoists, including a woman, had infiltrated into Tamil Nadu early today.
Police started checking vehicles coming from Kerala and Karnataka side following reports of infiltration by extremists.
Rumours were afloat in Coimbatore that a few Maoists moved to Nilgiris district early today.
