Police rescue two minor girls from Raipur

Two minor girls who went missing since January 16 from their village in Kalahandi district after being allegedly kidnapped were rescued by Odisha Police from Raipur in neighbouring Chhatisgarh.
Police said the girls, students of standard ten, along with two suspected persons - a man and a woman were from brought back from Raipur in Chhattishgargh were brought back here during the day.
The police rescued the girls by acting on information that the girls were seen at Raipur railway station.
Meanwhile, the girls' parents received missed calls on their mobile phones. The calls were tracked and a joint raid was conducted by Odisha and Chhhatisgarh police were conducted in a beauty parlour at Raipur.
The man and the woman are being interrogated, the police said adding it is being suspected the girls were sought to be trafficked.
