Peel Regional Police Cst. Fiona Thivierge said shots have been fired at a Brampton, Ontario court house. She said they don't know who or how many are injured but that an ambulance is headed to a hospital.
She said the courthouse has been sealed off and a police tactical team is going in.
Will Jaksa, a criminal lawyer, tweeted that shots were fired on the first floor of the courthouse and that he was locked in a court room as police clear the building.
