Police security for TMC office

Security has been provided to the Tamil Maanila Congress Office here after some congress workers arrived with sickles and sticks last night, police today said.
TMC Office Manager Venkatrama Raja and some party functionaries were present when the congress workers arrived leading to tension.
However, police pacified both groups and they dispersed.
There was a dispute between the two groups over the ownership of the Nehru Bhavanam building where the TMC office is located now.
A meeting of TMC and Congress functionaries would be held tomorrow to find a solution, officials said.
