Police stops seven people while attempting suicide

The Lake police stopped seven people, including four women and two children, from attempting suicide in the Hussain Sagar lake in the past 48 hours, it was officially announced here today.
A police release said that during September 2 and September 3, police officials rescued them after they attempted suicide by jumping into the lake.
A police enquiry found that they had attempted to end their lives for various reasons including family disputes due to drunk husbands beating up their wives, husbands having affairs with other women as well as some of them suffering from diseases, the release said.
