Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sunil Beniwal of Karkardooma Court asked the concerned Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to look into the matter and file a report on February 5.
Regarding the injuries caused to three BJP workers allegedly by the lawyers during the clash, the court said, "let an independent opinion be taken from the government institutions or hospital with respect to nature of injuries".
"Matter being serious in nature, concerned ACP is directed to enquire the matter himself and file the report by February 5, 2015. Moreover, any form of electronic surveillance evidence shall also be collected as evidence," the court said.
According to the police, the clash was between a group of BJP workers and a number of lawyers who were yesterday raising slogans against Bedi outside her campaign office.
