"Constable Farooq Ahmad of District Police Lines Srinagar was injured in the head due to accidental fire of Pump Action gun during its demonstration at a joint training session in Zainakote in Srinagar," a police spokesman said.
He said the injured cop was rushed to hospital for treatment.
The training session was held at the Battalion Headquarters of 44 Bn CRPF camp at Zainkote, the spokesman said.
