The team was on its way to carry out a raid when the mishap took place near Pipahra village yesterday, they said.
Digvijay Singh (36), Station Officer of Nidhauli Kalan, died in the incident, police said.
Three constables -- Surendra, Santosh and Nayeem -- were injured and rushed to hospital, they added.
