Policemen run over by truck, one killed

A policeman was today killed and another injured after being run over by a truck which they had flagged down at a police barricade on National Highway 91 at Dhamrawali village here.
The deceased policeman was identified as Vinod Kumar. He died on the spot while his fellow cop, Arun Kumar, was admitted to the district hospital here.
According to SP (City) Man Singh Chauhan, the truck has been seized but the driver is absconding.
A case under Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the IPC has been registered, he added.
