He said this after reviewing the preparations being made for the public meeting to be held at Ganaur in district Sonipat which will be addressed by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi tomorrow, an official release quoted him as saying.
The Chief Minister said Gandhi will lay the foundation stone of International Horticulture Market to be setup over 597 acres of land at Ganaur.
The horticulture market would be the biggest market for fruits, vegetables and dairy products in the country, he said.
He said the government has planned to start contract farming in the state which would further promote this market and in the near future food chain and processing units would also be set up there.
Hooda further said Congress was seeking suggestions from people belonging to all strata of the society to prepare its election manifesto for the upcoming election.
The Congress vice president would meet about 400 farmers from across the country to include their suggestions in the election manifesto of Congress in this connection, he said.
