Jharkhand BJP today claimed that the party's poll prospects have further improved after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit in the state.
"As of now, we (BJP) are ahead in campaigning in all the 13 assembly constituencies of Kolhan, where the second-phase of the five-stage assembly polling was slated on December 2," said Rakesh Prasad, vice president of the state's BJP.
Prasad expressed confidence that BJP will form a majority government in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed two public meetings in Jharkhand yesterday.
With his attention drawn that AICC president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi had also addressed the election meetings in Kolhan region, Prasad said Rahul has become "irrelevant" in Jharkhand and his election meetings had turned out to be a "flop show".
