The highest poll percentage of 83 per cent was reported in the East and West Godavari Teachers' constituency, followed by Krishna and Guntur Teachers' constituency with 70 per cent, a release from the office of the Chief Electoral Officer here said.
It added that 51 per cent polling was recorded in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates' constituency, followed by Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy and Hyderabad Graduates' constituency with 39 per cent.
The poll percentages given by the office were approximate figures, it said.

The counting of votes would be taken up on March 25 and necessary arrangements have been made for it, the release said.
Though the elections are not held on political lines, the main contest in the two graduates' constituencies in Telangana was between the candidates backed by ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi and BJP-TDP combine.
Leaving no stone unturned for victory, the respective candidates also conducted a spirited campaign before the polls.
