The party's legislature wing leader A Anbalagan told reporters here that he and his party colleagues would boycott the 'at home' reception to be held on the lawns of Raj Nivas as part of the celebration of the Republic Day.
"We have received the invitations from office of Lt Governor to attend the reception.. But we have decided to distance ourselves from the function to mark our protest against Bedi's continued interference in the functioning of the elected ministry," he said.
He also said the Chief Minister should meet the President, Prime Minister and Home Minister to seek their intervention to end the "undemocratic style of functioning" of Bedi.
Narayanasamy had yesterday said he would soon meet the President and Prime Minister to apprise them of the "undemocratic style of functioning" of Bedi and her 'interference' in the routine administration.
