Pondy Lt Governor, CM greet President on his birthday

Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi and Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today greeted President Pranab Mukherjee on the occasion of his 81st birthday, wishing him a long and healthy life in the service of the nation.
Extending greetings to the President, Bedi said, "The country is gifted to have the most experienced political philosopher as its President."
The President had transcended "the multitude of roles of freedom fighter, political and social worker, teacher, jurist and writer to assume the highest office," she said.
She wished Mukherjee a long and healthy life so thatthe nation would continue to reap the benefits of his rich knowledge and wisdom.

In his message, Narayanasamy said the high standard of honesty and integrity of Mukherjee had been the highlights of his more than 60-year-old service to the nation.
He wished him a happy and healthy life so that the country could scale greater heights through his skill, knowledge and proficiency.
