Requesting the government to ensure adequate ambulances, DMK MLA Geetha Anandhan claimed that there were instances of shortage of drivers to operate the vehicles wherever they were available.
AIADMK legislature party wing leader A Anbalagan urged the Puducherry government to allocate more funds to the health sector so that the shortcomings could be addressed.
Narayanasamy said the government would take steps to make sure that all the government health care centres had ambulances to transfer patients to medical centres.
