The 40-year-old actor took to Twitter to share a picture with the main leads on the TV show, actors Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford.
"Shooting with my favourite detectives in the whole world for @LethalWeaponFOX #clynecrawford #DamonWayne," Batra captioned the photo.
The series is based on the famous film series of the same name, which featured Hollywood stars Mel Gibson and Danny Glover.
The show has been renewed for a second season by Fox, which is set to premiere on September 26.
Batra is known for her roles in films such as "Virasat", "Haseena Maan Jaayegi", "Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye" and "Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story".
Batra had moved to the US after her marriage to orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Sonu S Ahluwalia in 2003.
She filed for divorce in 2011 citing irreconcilable differences.
