The German luxury automobile maker Porsche will recall 14,571 vehicles in China due to faulty camshaft, the national quality watchdog said.
Imported Panamera models made from April 2009 to September 2011 and two Cayenne models manufactured from March 2010 to September 2011 are among the recalled cars, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.
The Panamera models are generally priced between $78,100 and $200,500 while the Cayman models come within a range of $52,600 to $84,600.
Porsche said it will replace the defective components for free. The recall process is scheduled to start on April 20 this year.
