Portea to open 12 more centres

Home medical care service provider Portea Medical planned to open 12 more centres across the country, a top company official said today.
The six-month old company, which has presence in seven cities, was offering health care services by sending doctors, nurses and attendants to serve patients at their doorsteps with an average of 100 visits a day, Co-Founder and Chairman, Ganesh Krishnan told reporters here.
The centre in Coimbatore will be opened next month and 11 more before the end of next fiscal, Ganesh, here to attend in the First Edition of TiEcon Coimbatore-2014, organised by The Indus Entrepreneurs, said.
The company was catering to the needs of three sections--- elderly, chronic disease and post operative requirements. They will be provided within a 20 km radius in and around the city in company vehicles, he said.
