Posing as cops, three men loot Rs 10 L during 'vehicle check'

Three persons posing as policemen robbed employees of a construction company of Rs 10.9 lakh at Srinagar colony here, police said today.
They stopped the vehicle belonging to the company on the evening of April 21 at Ameerpet Junction, saying it was a part of the checking ahead of the elections.
The trio confiscated the money which the employees were carrying and fled, said a senior police officer.
Police later took into custody two suspects, and role of the vehicle's driver was also being probed.
Punjagutta police were conducting further investigating.
