At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in far-month July rose by Rs 120, or 0.31 per cent to Rs 39,340 per kg in business turnover of 3 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in May contract was trading higher by Rs 96, or 0.25 per cent to Rs 38,808 per kg in 262 lots.
Traders attributed the rise in silver prices at futures trade to a firm trend overseas.
