Postal covers released to mark 75th year of INS Circars

Marking Platinum Jubliee celebration of INS Circars, the first Naval establishment in Visakhapatnam, the Postal department released a postal cover here today.
Post Master General Sharada Sampath handed over the first cover to INS Circars Commanding officer Saleem Anwer.
An array of activities including blood donation camp, visits to orphanages, old age homes and construction of community facilities in naval residential areas here will be held as part of the celebrations.
On the occasion, Anwer said INS Circars will provide required administrative and logistic supports to naval establishments at the ENC.
He said that currently, INS Circars has been providing administrative and logistic support to 45 naval units and 45,000 naval personnel of the ENC.

As part of the celebrations, former Commanding Officer of the Circars K P Goala Rao also unveiled of Platinum Jubilee Plaque and participated in a plantation drive along with other ex-Commanding Officers today.
