Police arrested the postmaster of Barh Post Office after it was confirmed during forestic test that the bullets found in the body of the victim were fired from a pistol belonging to him, Patna SSP Amrit Raj told reporters.
He was arrested after he confessed to the crime during interrogation and was confronted with the forestic report about his weapon, he said.
The postmaster confessed to police that he had killed the man at Parathu village in Patna district on March five to avenge the murder of his father. His father was allegedly killed by the victim, the SSP said.
