Power Mech bags orders worth Rs 476 cr

Power Mech Projects has bagged orders worth Rs 475.86 crore, including works for 800 MW North Chennai thermal power station Stage-III for Rs 246.51 crore.
The orders also include supply and services contract for electrification works in Hoshangabad and Harda in Bhopal region of MPMKVVCL, Madhya Pradesh under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana(DDUGJY) for a total contract price of Rs 78.18 crore for a period of 24 months, the company said in a BSE filing today.
According to statement, it also got order for construction of civil, architectural and structural works for 1X800 MW, North Chennai TPS Stage-III, Ponneri TK, Thiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu for a total contract price of Rs 246.51 crore for a period of 36 months.
Under the contract, it will do balancing work of levelling and grading of entire plant area and all roads and drains as per drawing furnished during execution stage, specifications and as per directions of engineer in charge including all associated works, complete as per specification at 3X660 MW North Karanpura STPP, Jharkhand for total contract price of Rs 126.17 crore for a period of 20 months.
Further, the order is for semi-finished works of main plant package (SG & AUX) for Unit I,II & III of 3X660 MW NTPC Barh Project from Doosan Power Systems India Private Ltd for a total contract price of Rs 25 crore, it added.
