Pradeep, Saraswati bag gold in National Weightlifting c'ship

Pradeep Singh and Saraswati Rout bagged gold medals in their respective weight categories on the fourth day of the Senior National Weightlifting Championships here today.
Punjab's Pradeep lifted 145kg in snatch before accumulating 185kg in clean and jerk to steal the top position with a total of 330kg in Men's 94kg category.
R V Rahul of RSPB and Nogender Singh of MP won the silver and bronze medals with total lifts of 329kg (147+182) and 317kg (148+169), respectively.
In women's 58kg category, Saraswati walked away with the yellow metal with a total lift of 189kg (82+107), while N Sumanbala Devi of snatched the silver with a total effort of 183kg (80+103) and Navdeep Kaur settled for a bronze with a lift of 180kg (80+100).

In women's 63kg weight class, Reena achieved the gold medal with a total lift of 215kg (96+119). Vandna Gupta and Jasvir Kaur bagged the second and third positions with efforts of 211kg (93+118) and 207kg (90+117), respectively.
