Pranab Mukherjee likely to visit Jagannath Temple on Sept 7

President Pranab Mukherjee is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Odisha on September 6, official sources said.
During his stay, Mukerjee would have darshan of Lord Jagannath in the 12th century shrine here likely on September 7 morning before attending the convocation of the IIT-Bhubaneswar.
Soon after reaching Bhubaneswar on September 6 in the evening, President will leave for the temple town and spend the night at Raj Bhawan,Puri.
Sri Jagannath Temple Administration held a preparatory meeting to ensure the President's hassle-free visit. "We have not yet received his final itinerary. But we have started arrangements," said SJTA chief administrator Aravind Padhee.

President had darshan of the deities in the 12th century shrine on April 25 this year when he came to attend the convocation of Utkal University.
