Prasanth, Vihari hit fifties in drawn tie

Prasanth Kumar missed out on a hundred while Hanuma Vihari also hit an unbeaten half-century as Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh split points following a draw in their rain-hit Group C match, here today.
Beginning the day at 47 for one, Andhra ended at 167 for one with Prasanth scoring 93 and skipper Vihari 68 as the two players added 120 runs to their overnight total.
Himachal Pradesh had scored 357 in their first innings. The entire second day was washed out while less than 30 overs could be bowled on the third day.
The match was destined for a drab draw.
Prasanth's 93 came off 191 balls with eight fours and a six while Vihari took 149 balls for his 68 that had nine shots to the fence.
