'Pravasi Friend', an organisation which provides a complete range of services for NRIs and NRKs to tackle all their needs in their hometown, launched its operations here.
S Manoj, a former Ranji Trophy cricket player and selector of the Kerala cricket team and P R Ganesh, who was running a distribution business for almost two decades, began the organisation recently.
Following the huge demand from customers, Pravasi Friend has begun extending their services to local people also.
According to Manoj, non-residents who come home on vacation find it difficult to complete a large list of mandatory tasks - ranging from government departmental services, legal services, medical services, spiritual needs, tours and travel to real estate purchases.
Keeping all these things in mind, Pravasi friend was launched to help those in need.
Assistance is given in buying, renting out and maintaining their properties, providing property documentation, investigation, home security services, besides securing admissions for their children in schools and colleges in the state.
Getting medical consultations of doctors and undertaking customised healthcare and treatment requests are also taken care of, Ganesh added.
