Pre-monsoon rains lash Rajasthan

Parts of Rajasthan continued to be lashed by pre-monsoon rains but some of the areas battled harsh weather and maximum temperature in Phalodi area settled at 47.5 degree Celsius.
In Jaipur, the relative humidity was 87 per cent with sweltering weather conditions.
Western regions of Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Barmer, Bikaner, and Churu remained in the grip of heat wave conditions as mercury ranged from 42.2 to 44 degree C this afternoon.
However, pre-monsoon rains occurred in north-south of the state as Dabla, Rawatsar, Chohta recorded 4 cm rainfall each.
Bhinay, Sayla and Sinderi got 3 cm rains each while Khandar, Sangod, Tatgarh, Ajmer and Rani got 2 cms rains each.
